Tom has been playing guitar throughout the Bay Area and Northern California for over 30 years. He started playing guitar at age 13 and has not stopped since. While growing up in San Leandro, CA, his style was influenced by listening to rock, folk, alternative, jazz, fusion, and classical music. Tom’s past band endeavors have given him the opportunity to open for acts such as Peter Frampton and perform with other recording artist including: Eddie Money, Frank Hannon – Tesla, Leon Wilkeson – Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Jimmy Lyons – of Eddie Money and Tina Turner. In addition to Tom’s extensive experience, he has recently completed three years of jazz/theory study with local Bay Area jazz legend, Lorn Leber.
Tom’s musical influences are: The Beatles, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, The Who, Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Montrose, Neil Young, Talking Heads, Tool, Radiohead, Zero Seven, Hank Williams Senior, Miles Davis, Al Di Meola, Pat Matheny, Kenny Burrell, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, and Chopin, just to name a few….
