Rachael Weinbrecht

rachael Rachael’s musical biography is primarily comprised of a strong desire to sing as a creative and emotional outlet. Rachael was born in San Diego, and raised in the foothills of the Sierras and is presently a Bay Area resident. While growing up and participating in high school and church choirs, she was exposed to a diverse mix of musical tastes and talents, enabling her to pull from those experiences while performing.

In the 90’s she was a part of the San Diego music scene, playing in clubs and for special events. Later on, while working in the Bay Area, she performed as lead singer of the Plutoniacs, who played locally for special events and corporate gigs. This also gave her the opportunity of playing at the San Jose Civic auditorium before a very large audience.

Rachael’s musical influences span many years and musical genres, and include: Joni Mitchell, Tracy Chapman, Bonnie Raitt, Patty Griffin, Tina Dico, Melissa Etheridge, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Grace Slick and many others.

Sharing her love for music with an audience and other musicians is one of Rachael’s joys in life, and she is thrilled to be involved with Synaptic Gap.
